Beloved visitors! I ask Allah The Almighty to help us and enable us to mention Him abundantly, thank with His due thanks and properly worship Him. I also ask Him to enable us to exert all efforts in worshipping Him during these coming days, the best days of the year (the first ten days of Thul-Hijjah) and to grant us the reward of Hajj even if we do not physically reach Hajj. I ask Him to make us enjoy the sweetness of worship and to find its effect and impact on our hearts.
Beloved visitors! Get ready to receive the first ten days of Thul-Hijjah, by which Allah swore in His Book saying (what means): {"By the dawn. And [by] ten nights"}[Quran 89:1-2] Get ready to increase your balance of rewards. Prepare a spiritual plan from now on how to utilize these days. Try to concentrate on the following acts of worship as they are the most important:
1. Continuously mentioning Allah in order to attain the result of: "So remember (mention) Me; I will remember you" [Quran 2:152] One must give special importance to Tahleel (saying La Ilaaha Illa Allah), Takbeer (saying Allahu Akbar) and Tahmeed (saying Al-Hamdu Lillaah).
2. Continuously pondering over the signs of Allah The Almighty in order to attain the result of: "…he would be among the certain [in faith]" [Quran 6:75] One of the most important matters to ponder over is the Quran, specially while one is reciting one's daily portion. One must ponder and reflect in order to relieve himself and his heart from the chains: "Then do they not reflect upon the Quran, or are there locks upon [their] hearts?" [Quran 47:24]
3. Setting a daily program that includes various types of worship which would achieve the highest profit in terms of reward, because this is a season of trade with Allah The Almighty.
4. Concentrating on the day acts of worship, like fasting, offering the daily prayers on their due time, offering the optional prayers, reciting the day supplications, reciting the Quran and calling others to Allah.
Some advice to pay attention to:
· We do not want to perform acts of worship that are empty and thus yield no fruits. Perform your acts of worship attentively in order for your heart to soften.
· Let us mention Allah The Almighty with an attentive heart and not merely with our tongues.
· We should mention Allah The Almighty in a way that would instigate love and make us long to meet Him.
· We must prostrate to Allah The Almighty in a way that would make feel close to Him.
· We should clear our hearts from worldly attachments during this great season and devote our times for the Hereafter.
The real winner is the one who purifies his heart and not the one outwardly performs numerous physical acts of worship. The real winner is the one who refrains from sinning with his heart because they are more destructive than the physical ones.
Let us try to understand; we are living days that could lead us to Paradise. Every day should have a new message that would revive our hearts.
Let our slogan be something like:
· No one will beat me to gaining the Pleasure of Allah.
· I will show Allah The Almighty how devoted I will be.
· My Lord! If am hindered by a legitimate excuse, then do not deprive me from the reward I intended to work to attain.
· I will be honest with my Lord.
· My Lord, enable me to remain upon the right path until I meet You.
